Description
Recording King Nickel Tricone Resonatorthe unique tricone sound – originally created nearly a century ago to combine band-level volume and bell-like clarity — lives on today in the RM-991 Nickel Tricone Resonator.
Traditional tricone throatiness comes from three RK Hand-spun resonator cones and a Bell Brass body. Hand-spun aluminum is unmatched for true resophonic volume, and RK cones are among the best available. The warmth of the brass body softens and rounds the projected notes, while the open pan soundwell allows the chiming overtones this guitar is famous for.
With a sandcast powder-coated T-Bridge and nickel plated body the Nickel Tricone Resonator looks and sounds like a century old closet classic. Just like the original design, history is in your hands.
